EAST ANTRIM HOCKEY CLUB EXHIBITION

East Antrim Hockey Club in conjunction with Newtownabbey Borough Council are running an exhibition at the Council's headquarters - Mossley Mill.

The exhibition chronicles the first 100 years of the Club's history. Photographs from 1903 to the present day are on display in the Mill's foyer as well as Club strips, trophies and other memorabilia. The photographic display includes ecently recovered photos from places as near as Carrickfergus and as far as Adelaide, South Australia.

Jim Strange, Club Chairman, was heartened by the enthusiasm of the Council during the preparation of the exhibition: "It is a fitting end to our year of Centenary Celebrations that our spiritual home, Newtownabbey, should play host for such a magnificent display".

The exhibition is open from 9am to 5pm, each day until the end of August.
