The 2003-2004 Annual Dinner Dance was a success - no surprises there. 54 people turned up to see many people's awards predictions come true.
The Most Improved Player of the Year award was presented by Cyril Alexander, who kindly donated the Alexander Trophy to the Club this year. Cyril's father and four uncles all played for the Club in the 1920s. Leon Currie (pictured) scooped this award on account of the great strides he has made during the course of this season.
The Young Player of the Year award was presented by Stephen Swann, who also donated a trophy to the Club this year. George Tumilson headed off to the bar with this trophy in order to fill it with some wild concoction.
The 3rd XI Player of the Year award went to Tom Russell, while Andrew Blair picked up the 2nd XI Player of the Year.
Top honours (1st XI Player of the Year and Bob Artt Memorial Trophy winner) went to Alan Burgess.
The Willie Irvine Trophy was presented to the one Club member who excelled in an administrative capacity as well as his on-field displays. Neal Hermon won the award for the work he has performed with regard to tours, tournamets, general committee input and umpiring.
