Many thanks for your kind festive greetings. I'm glad to hear that my adoptive Irish Club had a good year - they certainly deserved it. Please send my best wishes to all at the Club who remember the Pink Shirt Umpires.
I liked the area & enjoyed myself so much that I'm bringing my wife & Mother over for a visit in March as a Mother's Day treat for them. You never know, I might get to see a few old faces (& I might even have my Pink Shirt with me).

A good New Year to all officials and players throughout 2004.
I hope your results are greatly superior to those we achieved in the fifties!!!!

Thanks for the 2004 best wishes and may I wish the same to all EAHC. Yes I keep an eye on your league positions and see you are competitive. Saw the GB team play NZ in one of the drawn matches of the drawn series of 5 games....terrific game ...GB a trifle off ball unpleasant to watch and unsporting....eventually one umpire had the courage to use his cards. Will keep in touch.....the 1stJAN.....no headache ....strange?...glorious sunshine ...expect golf course to be crowded with visitors, as this is our peak tourist time.
