80s Reunion...
The successful Great Britain squad FROM the Eighties are getting together again ... and are going to play in Belfast.
The squad - which comprises the bulk of the 1988 gold medal winning team in the Seoul Olympics, as well as some of the 1984 bronze medal winning team in the Los Angeles Olympics - are coming across in early October.
It will include gold medal winners Stephen Martin and Jimmy Kirkwood and also Billy McConnell who was a bronze winner four years earlier.
It's their intention to play an Ulster President's XI at Belfast Harlequins' Deramore ground and also take part in a charity dinner aimed at raising money for SPARKS.
It should be a special occasion, with special stars like Sean Kerly, Imran Sherwani, Steven Batchelor, Norman Hughes and Ian Taylor taking part.
They hope to play against George Compston's Ulster President's XI, which will include players FROM the era, like Martin Sloan, Mark Burns, Kenny Morris, Paul Cooke and David Larmour.
As all budding players will realise, the opportunity to see these legends in action should not be passed up.
