Exhibition Success...
The EAHC exhibition at Mossley Mill, in conjunction with Newtownabbey Borough Council, was a great success. The magnificent photo-exhibits dating FROM 1903 to the modern day, were matched by the trophies and medals in the cabinets.
Speeches FROM Jim Strange (Chairman), Paul Girvan (Mayor of Newtownabbey) and George Compston (Ulster Branch President) kicked off proceedings with free red wine, white wine, Miller and crisps.
Current players mingled with old boys (David Jackson, Russell White, etc.) and really old boys (Des Ervine, Ken Skelton, etc.) to make up an enjoyable evening.
Special thanks should go to Jim Strange for co-ordinating the event (pictured right) although he still has the onerous task of removing the exhibition at the end of the month.
If you missed the night (and we know that one or two couldn't make it)... then you still have a chance to view the exhibition by calling in to Mossley Mill between now and the end of August.
