There was disappointment today as the hockey fraternity in Ulster woke to the news that Instonians (and, therefore Ireland) had been relegated FROM the 'A' division of the European Cup Winners Cup competition.
Obviously this is a blow for the troops, but hopefully Lisnagarvey can win the 'B' division next season - just in time for East Antrim to take over the reigns in 2004-2005.
A simple matter of winning the Irish Cup will bring European competition to the Green Machine which has set its sights on being the Real Madrid of European hockey.
