Ronnie Davis proved he knows his rugby when he won the recent Six Nations Predictor challenge on this website.
Ronnie collected his cheque from Club Chairman, Jim Strange, recently in an understated "ceremony".
Ronnie said: "I really enjoyed the competition and am delighted to win. I do hope you organise some more so that I can build on this success."
Obviously the winnings are not necessarily going to entice Ronnie to give up his day job!
In all, the online game made a modest profit for Club funds and Jim Strange did express his disappointment at the number of participants.
"It was a great game, great fun and for a good cause. Obviously we will have to look at our marketing strategy if we want to run the event again and I would urge all club members to take a more active role in promoting not just this event, but all fund-raising efforts that the committee undertake."
With the World Cup, another Six Nations, Champions League and many other events to look forward to, there is plenty of potential for fun, fundraising and winnings!
