Well no great surprises here, as soon as we seen the group we knew it would be us who would get Downpatrick away on the gravel and guess what, we did, how predictable.
The fixtures are:
Saturday 18th Sept Parkview (h)
Saturday 25th Sept Ballynahinch (h)
Saturday 2nd Oct Downpatrick (a)
I'm sure Parkview and Ballynahinch will be pleased at avoiding a trip to the gravel.
Why are senior cup and league matches still allowed to be played on gravel?
A lot of teams, ourselves included, pay out a lot of money to hire astroturf pitches, should it not be the same for all?
I wonder if we will get any umpires for any games this year?
