2nds Are Safe...

The latest league tables show that the 2nd XI will have another season in Junior League 5 next year!

Mathematically, neither Bangor 5ths nor Lisnagarvey 6ths can catch East Antrim even though there are still 4 matches to play. Indeed, these two teams can only hope that either Larne or Raphoe have some "end-of-season-nerves".

East Antrim may play a role in determining the fate of these clubs as 2 of their remaining fixtures involve the relegation battling Clubs - Bangor & Raphoe.

"I'm pleased that we aren't involved in any relegation nonsense directly. I've been looking at Soupy's record over the last 3 years and in order to beat anything he achieved, we still need to win 3 out of our last 4 matches. Tough but achievable. Goalscoring-wise, we are way ahead of anything the 2nds have achieved in recent years."
