Injuries Galore...

East Antrim have currently been keeping the A&E Dept of the Mater Hospital busy as well as various physios around the country. East have an injury list at the moment that would provide Gerard Houllier with enough excuses to remain in a job for a few years yet!!

James Greer has the most serious injury with a suspected fractured skull and according to the doctors he won't be playing for a while, although club captain David Caldwell has informed him that 2 weeks should be sufficent rest.

David found himself in the cubicle next to Jamesy in A&E as he required stitches to his left ear after Saturday's game. Birdy and Pablo asked the doctor if they could watch the stitches being inserted but were asked to leave the cubicle. David also has a dead leg after recieveing a pass form Neal Hermon on the calf muscle.

Jonathon Porter has not played for a few weeks due to a calf strain and Alan Burgess had to come off just after half time at the weekend when he finally had to give in to a calf strain he has been carrying for a few weeks and with Craig McCruggan currently struggling with a bad back it may be a blessing that the 1st XI have no fixture next week allowing some of these injuries to clear up.
