Today's 3rd XI match against Bangor was abandoned after a very serious injury to Mark McDonald. Mark was struck in the face by the ball (after the whistle had already been blown) and had to be rushed to hospital.
Mark was transferred to the Ulster Clinic at Dundonald as it was feared he may require surgery.
Mark's progress will be monitored and reported as and when further information is available.
