Two teams selected by the Riddell brothers battled out the annual Boxing Day match at The Glade with Peter's team outgunning Geoff's by 2 goals to 1.
The day is normally a time when the "show-offs" come to the fore and forget that hockey is a team sport, and this event was no different with numerous players from both teams seemingly refusing to release the ball!
A Tom Russell consolation goal late in the game wasn't enough to stir Geoff's team into life, although James Greer was inspired in Peter's goal!
Stephen Swann grabbed both goals for Peter's team with plenty of "static" assistance from Geoff's defence.
