The 3rd XI captaincy issues have now been fully resolved for the remainder of the season. Originally, Michael McKenna (pictured) was offered the role on a 6 week trial with a view to sharing the responsibility for team affairs around some of the other players.
However, Michael has performed so well in his role that he has been offered the job for the rest of the season. The good news is that Michael has accepted the challenge to lead the team during the remaining dozen or so matches.
No doubt the team will continue to give Michael the support and respect he deserves.
