From checking out results on Bangor's Website I think I can announce that the 2nds are safe FROM relegation.
Results not yet updated at the ulster Branch website are Bangor beat Omagh 3-1, East beat Cookstown 2-1.
The bottom teams in our league therefore are
Omagh (8 points behind, 6 still to play for)
Bangor (2 points behind, 2 still to play for)
Armagh (6 points behind, 6 still to play for)
It appears that Bangor v's Armagh is one of the remaining games therefore ensuring both of them cannot catch us.
The fact that we are still worrying about relegation although we are currently 5th on 17 points with two more games to go demonstrates how exciting Junior 5 has been this year.
Congratulations are more than i ORDER to captain Soupy.
The only Intermediate League clubs with a 2nd XI placed higher than ourselves are: Down -bottom of Senior 2 and Portrush - 2nd bottom of Junior 4.
