East Antrim will have to face the might of Instonians 2nd XI in the Ulster Section of the Irish Junior Cup.
In the new Senior 2 Cup, East Antrim have been put INTO a GROUP which features Portrush, Portadown, Saintfield and Crossgar.
The Linden Cup, however, will be a small GROUP of just three teams. Completing the lineup will be South Antrim and Omagh.
Speaking exclusively to EAHC-Online, Alan Burgess said: "We shouldn't fear either South Antrim nor Omagh. I believe we have a chance to progress. However, the Irish Junior Cup looks tough!"
The 2nd XI will open their league campaign with a home fixture against Harlequins 3rds on the 28th September.
