By VC Saturday saw us into the game with the chance of qualifing for the semi-finals of the Linden Cup! The game started in a pretty positive fashion for the men in green though ther was no final finish until we eaned a free hit just inside the PSNI 25. The free was drilled straight towards goal by Alan Burgess where it was deflected high into the roof of the net by Leon Currie to make it 1-0! Not long after that it was 2-0 with a well worked short corner that was hammered past the goalkeepers left side to the bottom corner by Neal Hermon! From 2-0 up things started to go wrong with the opposition getting back into it from a penalty stoke! The second was scored from a man in a wide open space at the top of our circle! H-T :- 2-2 We again had some good position in the second half but could not convert the chances that we made!PSNIs third come via an own goal and the forth came as we were pressing forward to give ourselves a glimmer of qualification but their forth goal ended all hope of that!
