A very good performance by the men in green, out played Parkview in all areas of the pitch and with a superior pen corner count we really should have put the game to bed. Failure to convert all the pressure into goals was our undoing. A defensive error let parkview into the circle from where they capitalised to take a 1-0 lead into the break. The second half was a carbon copy of the first with East Antrim applying most of the pressure and asking all the questions, looking for the equaliser the home team were hit with a long ball which resulted in a second goal for Parkview.

Maybe on another day it could have been different, with A Burgess , D Menaul and J Greer set to return over the next few weeks we can look forward to meeting Parkview in the return leg.
