Criminal...

The boys worked hard and the first half was an easy contest despite the fact that the team led through a solitary Phil Irwin strike - his goalscoring is becoming a habit!

The second half, however, saw the game degenerate into a Walkt Disney affair with no fairy tale ending. The bemusement on the faces of the East Antrim players when decision after decision went against them was a picture. However, when a goal was awarded to Annadale for no apparent reason, the players felt the guts had been ripped from them.

Umpires are supposed to give what they see. Sometimes they miss things and that is acceptable. It is hard to tolerate an umpire who gives decisions based on things he does not see!

Ah well, ho hum. Annadale are sitting 2nd in the league and we can take some comfort from the fact that they are by no means any better than us.

Lisnagarvey 5ths next week... the final match before Christmas... let's make it a belter!
