East travelled to Jordanstown to take on their fierce rivals knowing they were in for a difficult day.This was made harder with the withdrawal of David Caldwell(ankle damage)and Jonathan Porter(flu).East never started at all in this match,we were poor defensively and offensively and our hunger to win 50-50 tackles was not there.Despite this East held Parkview to 0-0 at half time.This was down to two things,poor finishing by Parkview and a string of great saves by Graeme Cooke.With Parkview scoring twice in the second half this added more heartache for the East players.The green machine dont have long to wait though for revenge they play Parkview again at Ballysillan on Saturday.I have no doubt there will be a big performance from the lads after a dissapointing weekend.
