A History In Images

"East Antrim Hockey Club, A History In Images" is the latest EAHC publication (published 2009) containing digitally remastered images dating from 1903. In quality hardback (with dustjacket), the book would take pride of place on any bookshelf.

While "Short Corners, Long Memories" is hard on verbosity, "A History In Images" gives up all page acreage for its remastered images.

A must-have book for those with a close connection with the Club.

Short Corners, Long Memories

"Short Corners, Long Memories (a history of East Antrim Hockey Club)" is the definitive history of East Antrim Hockey Club. Based in County Antrim and formed in October 1902, the Club has had a colourful history - albeit one which has not netted the heftiests of trophy hauls. The book provides a stunning array of photographic evidence to support the text - photographs from every decade including a rare 1903 Club photo.

The authors have also included anecdotal evidence from some of their more comical past players. And, of course, for the statistically minded, there is the usual lists of championship winning teams, international players and Club figures of significant importance.

All in all, a book that will not only appeal to those with a close connection with the Club, but also to the wider hockey fraternity.

A copy is currently travelling the world and its progress can be tracked.
